Why #Justice4Life?

We are in the midst of pro-life history. For decades there has not been a reliable pro-life majority on the Supreme Court, and in the meantime, we have been suffering the dire consequences. Millions of lives have been lost, which means millions of hurt women and broken families.

It isn’t enough to sit back and hope the administration does what it said it’s going to. To say the stakes are too high is an understatement. Even historically pro-life politicians need to hear messages of support from their constituents; after all, we know the other side is attacking them with everything they’ve got. Extremist pro-abortion groups have been gathering in front of the Supreme Court, and Planned Parenthood has been sending out non-stop alerts about all the rallies they are planning across the nation. We need to rally behind our Senators with an equal level of support to make sure they know we want Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmed.

We can’t afford for the other side to be louder than we are.

Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins announced a nationwide series of rallies in which the Pro-Life Generation will call for the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court on a #Justice4Life tour. There will be five vans touring the country, with a van full of students and staff in West Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, and Alaska. Students and staff will be meeting with Senate staff in many of these states, including West Virginia and Missouri, to push for confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh. They will also be pushing for an answer from all Senators in those states on whether or not they support Kavanaugh.

We are going to have a very busy week as we push for this confirmation. Already our pro-life advocates have met with Joe Donnelly’s office in Indiana! Throughout this week, we’ll have meetings with the office of Joe Manchin (West Virginia), Tammy Duckworth (Illinois), Claire McCaskill (Missouri), Dan Sullivan (Alaska) and Lisa Murkowski (Alaska).

The other side is desperate and their tactics show it. They are demanding that the Senate break protocol and refuse to confirm Kavanaugh simply because President Trump pledged to only appoint pro-life justices to the Supreme Court. We live in crazy political times and we just can’t run the risk that the system will give in to the abortion lobby’s insane (and illegal) demands. The majority of Americans do not agree with their extreme views on abortion… so should we let them speak for us just because they’re mouthy?

In the history of our pro-life movement, we’ve never been so close to achieving our goals.
